Mechanical Project Manager

Houston, TX | Commercial Mechanical Construction

An established, employee-owned mechanical contractor in Houston is looking for a Project Manager who takes pride in their work, values strong relationships, and wants to build a long-term career with a company that invests in its people.

This is an opportunity to join a financially established organization that believes in servant leadership, teamwork, and promoting from within. You'll have the support of experienced leadership, opportunities to continue developing your skills, and a voice in the company's success.

The Opportunity
  • Manage commercial mechanical construction projects, including new construction, expansions, and renovations.
  • Oversee projects from kickoff through closeout, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractors, and change orders.
  • Maintain financial accountability through cost tracking, forecasting, contract billings, and profitability management.
  • Work closely with field leadership, general contractors, customers, and internal teams to keep projects moving.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials while maintaining project schedules and quality standards.
  • Identify challenges early, resolve issues, and keep communication flowing between the field and office.
What We're Looking For
  • 2-5 years of construction project management experience, preferably in commercial HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical construction.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contracts, and construction operations.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and customers.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive approach to project management and a willingness to take ownership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field preferred.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
  • Employee ownership with a financial stake in the company's success.
  • A people-first culture built around servant leadership and integrity.
  • Established operations with opportunities for continued growth.
  • Leadership that supports professional development and internal advancement.
  • A collaborative environment where field and office teams work together.
  • Long-term career opportunities with an organization that values its employees.
The Right Fit

You don't need 15 or 20 years of experience to make an impact here. This opportunity is well suited for a Project Manager who has developed a solid foundation in mechanical construction, understands the importance of financial accountability, and wants to continue growing.

If you value stability, strong leadership, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with an employee-owned mechanical contractor, this position deserves your consideration.
