Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget adherence and quality. The role emphasizes oversight of subcontractors, procurement, and project financials in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical piping, and/or process piping construction, capable of independently managing multiple projects’ operational

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in mechanical construction or related discipline.
  • Strong experience with commercial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical piping, and/or process piping.
  • Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical construction scheduling, procurement, and field coordination.
  • Experience managing project budgets, billing, cost control, and cash flow.
  • Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and field teams.
  • Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Review bid documents, contracts, and letters of intent to confirm project scope and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and implement preconstruction and project schedules.
  • Establish labor and material cost codes and monitor project costs.
  • Prepare project billing schedules of values and execute monthly billings.
  • Procure fixtures, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Manage subcontractor and consultant selection and coordination.
  • Build and manage product submittal packages.
  • Review and approve project purchase orders.
  • Manage change estimates and drive timely approval of change orders.
  • Review RFIs for scope, cost, constructability, and project risk.
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively respond to schedule impacts.
  • Track project costs, cash flow, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular site visits and coordinate closely with field leadership.
  • Lead internal preconstruction and project startup meetings.
  • Identify design issues, delays, cost overruns, and other potential project risks.
  • Develop contingency plans and proactively manage changes in project scope.
  • Maintain accurate RFIs, change estimates, transmittals, and project records.
  • Manage final closeout including warranties, O&M manuals, as-builts, and turnover documentation.

Summary

A well-established mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
