Job summary

SSR is a leading engineering design, consulting and planning firm seeking an experienced project manager to lead complex facility and infrastructure projects. You will work with owners, clients and architects to ensure scope, standards and budgets are met, while fostering accountability and teamwork.

As part of SSR, you will oversee construction administration, manage schedules and staffing, and drive timely submittals, invoices, and revenue tracking, with a focus on quality and client

Qualifications

• Technical or Bachelor’s degree in a major engineering discipline with four years of project experience.
• Ten years of practical experience on similar projects.
• Professional Engineer Licensure preferred (required by those who have a ABET accredited degree in engineering)

Responsibilities

• Confirm scope and requirements with clients and stakeholders with support from the CRM or Operations Director as needed.
• Develop proposals and help build financial plans; confirm staffing and preliminary man-hour budgets with Senior PM/CRM/Operations.
• Lead effective project kick-offs to align scope, standards, budgets, roles, and expectations; foster ownership and trust.
• Oversee Construction Administration to support conformance of installed systems with design intent and quality standards.
• Prepare and implement proactive QA/QC plans; coordinate timely reviews and submittals to meet standards.
