Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Puerto Rico seeks an experienced Mechanical Project Coordinator in Guaynabo/Carolina to drive daily scheduling, planning, and on-site coordination for multi‑discipline projects, ensuring safety and timely execution.

You’ll review Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing scopes, manage the project schedule, support constructability reviews, and lead walkdowns with owners and designers while mentoring team members to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 4+ years of construction site experience preferred
• Ability to review and assist with Mechanical Drawings, Equipment & Piping scopes of work from Bid Phase
• Experience with the management of a project schedule
• Ability to create diagrams per construction design; AutoCAD experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site
• Review M/E/P scopes of work from the Bid Phase
• Manage the project schedule and resources
• Create diagrams per construction design; AutoCAD experience a plus
• Coordinate walkdowns and meetings with owner and designers
