Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Project Coordinator for Guaynabo/Carolina, Puerto Rico. You will lead daily scheduling and planning on site, ensuring materials, equipment and personnel align to keep the project on track, while safeguarding health and safety and advancing project goals.

Qualifications include 4+ years of construction site experience, ability to review M/E/P scopes, and proficiency with AutoCAD, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, 3D Model and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or other; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • At least 4+ years of construction site experience preferred.
  • Ability to review and assist with Mechanical Drawings, Equipment & Piping (M/E/P) scopes of work from the initial Bid Phase
  • Experience with the management of a project schedule.
  • Ability to create diagrams per construction design, AutoCad experience a plus

Here’s what you’ll need
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or other; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
  • At least 4+ years of construction site experience preferred
  • Ability to review and assist with Mechanical Drawings, Equipment & Piping (M/E/P) scopes of work from the initial Bid Phase
  • Experience with the management of a project schedule.
  • Ability to create diagrams per construction design, AutoCad experience a plus
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Pharma experience
  • Collaborating in planning, design, construction and commissioning
  • Excellent communications skill
  • Proficient in use of software as Power Point, Excel, Word, 3D Model, and Bluebeam
  • Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns and meetings and/or reviews with owner and designers
  • Attend constructability reviews

The base salary range for this position is $54,100.00 to $85,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
