You will perform analyses, develop designs and calculations, mentor colleagues, and help manage budgets, schedules and client communication while advancing energy-efficient, code-compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required with 5+ years in building design consulting.
• Strong technical and analytical skills in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection for low to moderate complexity projects.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per codes and IMEG standards.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and manage project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Provide in-process design reviews and ensure quality control.
• Collaborate with clients to capture requirements and communicate technical information.
• Support project delivery through bidding and construction administration.
• Stay current with industry trends and promote energy-efficient design.
