Job summary

IMEG Corp in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design on building projects. You will develop detailed designs, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, 100% employee-owned environment.

You will manage budgeting and scheduling, support commissioning and energy performance tasks, and stay current with industry trends while advancing safe, efficient mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required; PE license required.
• 5+ years in building design consulting; 6+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection on low to moderate complexity projects.
• Develop designs, specs, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
