Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer in Cincinnati, Ohio to lead project management and design delivery for moderate to complex mechanical systems. You will mentor staff and coordinate across design and construction phases to deliver client outcomes.

You will manage schedules and billing, ensure design quality, and collaborate with engineers and consultants to meet IMEG and owner standards, with a focus on energy-efficient, high-performance design.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 7 years minimum experience; 8 preferred in the building design consulting industry.
• 11 years minimum; 12 preferred in the building design consulting or construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects of varying size and complexity.
• Create project schedules with clear milestones and deadlines.
• Serve as the point of contact for project teams and clients.
• Create monthly billings, submit financial information to Accounting on time, and update billing projections.
• Ensure designs follow owner standards, IMEG standards, and code requirements.
