Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mission Critical Facilities Project Engineer in Chicago, IL to perform technical duties under supervision. You will guide designers, ensure design quality, and work on challenging data center projects across locations with Stantec offices.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, an accredited engineering degree, and a PE or equivalent certification is preferred; strong software and CFD tool proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7+ years related industry experience; data center experience preferred.
• PE license or other professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops advanced systems designs within own discipline with limited supervision.
• Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Prepares project deliverables per client’s scope of work.
• Assists in evaluating mechanical equipment.
• Coordinates with all disciplines for design integration.
• Follows QA/QC processes and reviews deliverables.
