As a Mechanical Engineer I for Summer 2027, you will perform load calculations, size equipment, survey fields, review drawings and support project teams to deliver energy-efficient building solutions. Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE from ABET accredited school.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Non-academic internship.
• Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities preferred.
• EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) a plus.
• Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform load calculations, determining system sizing and layouts, calculating equipment sizes.
• Select equipment, complete field surveys, and review equipment shop drawings.
• Lead mechanical project teams as you gain experience, write specifications, participate in project meetings.
• Support construction-phase work.

Within our team framework, you will initially work with and be mentored by experienced engineers and will yourself help to mentor designers. Your initial assignments will include performing load calculations, determining system sizing and layouts, calculating equipment sizes, selecting equipment, completing field surveys, and reviewing equipment shop drawings. As you gain project experience, you will take on a greater role in leading mechanical project teams, writing specifications, participating in project meetings with clients and other consultants, and supporting construction-phase work.
