Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years, preferably 4, in commercial building design consulting.
• Proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design principles.
• Experience in BIM and building information modeling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Create detailed designs, specs, and calculations per IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and maintain relationships.
• Manage project planning, budgeting, and scheduling with the team.
• Document decisions and monitor progress, percent complete, and fees.
• Provide in-process design reviews and ensure quality standards.
