Job summary

IMEG, a 100% employee-owned firm, seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC to lead design and project management for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection on education and government projects across North Carolina.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with architects and other engineers while ensuring code compliance and high-quality, energy-efficient design aligned with IMEG standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Create designs, specs and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
