Maintenance Planning Tech: IV - Mechanical Planner

What You Bring to the Table

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; technical degree or similar is a plus
• Over 5 years of maintenance experience, specifically utilizing SAP in the Oil & Gas or petrochemical industries
• Heavy working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
• Proven skills in planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities
• Experience with project planning software like MS Project or Primavera P6 is advantageous
• Familiarity with Prometheus, scaffolding, painting, insulating, heavy equipment operation, welding, fabrication, and work estimation
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to prioritize activities effectively and work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented mindset
• Self-starter with strategic thinking and attention to detail

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience with PHMSA-regulated pipeline facilities
• Knowledge of gas compression and metering equipment
• Experience with scaffolding, painting, or heavy rigging/lifting crafts
• Familiarity with scheduling software development and build
• Exposure to regulatory compliance and KPI development

Preferred Education & Experience

• Industry-specific certifications or licenses are advantageous
• Past experience with project planning software like Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Strong background in maintenance processes involving packaged and rotating equipment

• Ability to maintain or obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
