Job summary

The Bergaila Companies is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Planner IV to lead maintenance, outage, and reliability programs at our Sabine Pass, TX facility on a 12+ month contract. This role requires hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical systems and advanced planning tools.

You will develop long-range schedules, coordinate with operations, manage materials, and create detailed job packs while ensuring regulatory compliance and KPI insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance planning in industrial or petrochemical facilities.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA CMMS modules.
• Strong electrical systems background with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage maintenance, outage, and reliability plans using SAP S/4HANA, Primavera P6, and Prometheus.
• Coordinate work order development, scheduling, and resource allocation with operations and maintenance teams.
• Create detailed job packs and ensure thorough documentation for all work activities.
• Lead the development of long-term look-ahead schedules—monthly, quarterly, and multi-year plans and monitor schedule compliance.
• Interface with vendors and supply chain to identify material needs and optimize logistics.
• Support KPI development by analyzing deviations and trends, producing visual reports for regulatory and operational review.
• Collaborate on procedural improvements, develop training initiatives, and assist in budget preparations.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and manage maintenance, outage, and reliability plans using advanced planning software such as SAP S/4HANA, Primavera P6, and Prometheus.
• Coordinate work order development, scheduling, and resource allocation with operations and maintenance teams.
• Create detailed job packs and ensure thorough documentation for all work activities.
• Lead the development of long-term look-ahead schedules—monthly, quarterly, and multi-year plans and monitor schedule compliance.
• Interface with vendors and supply chain to identify material needs and optimize logistics.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5-7 years of maintenance planning experience in industrial or petrochemical facilities.
• Proven expertise with SAP S/4HANA, including CMMS modules.
• Strong background in electrical systems and maintenance planning.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Prometheus, and project management software is highly desirable.
• Hands‑on field experience with electrical, scaffolding, welding, fabrication, or heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a high‑pressure environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to create a cohesive team environment.

Nice To Have Skills

• Knowledge of PHMSA regulated pipeline facilities.
• Experience with gas compression and metering equipment.
• Familiarity with scheduling software beyond Primavera, such as MS Project.
• TWIC card (preferred; candidates with expired TWIC or plans to renew are welcome).

Preferred Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or related certifications a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of maintenance planning experience utilizing SAP in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.

Other Requirements

• Must maintain or obtain a valid TWIC card.
• Candidates must be onsite 5 days/week at Sabine Pass, TX.
• Strong preference for local candidates.
• Availability for work scheduled Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, with limited overtime.
