Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $60 – $70 per hour

What’s a typical day as Mechanical Planner? You’ll be:
- Planning and maintaining comprehensive maintenance and reliability programs for key assets.
- Creating, updating, and optimizing project and outage plans using advanced planning software.
- Managing and prioritizing maintenance work for rapid responses, effective backlog management, and cost control.
- Developing detailed job packs and work orders in coordination with operations and maintenance teams.
- Building and executing weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedules for maintenance, inspections, and upgrades.
- Coordinating manpower dispatch and job scheduling for maximum efficiency.
- Providing technical support to staff utilizing CMMS modules and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Identifying material requirements and working directly with vendors and supply chain partners.
- Developing KPIs and producing performance reports, focusing on maintenance and regulatory compliance trends.
- Supporting procedure development and implementing necessary procedural changes.
- Offering training and support to enhance job effectiveness and assisting with budget planning.
- Taking on other duties assigned to support evolving business needs.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED (Technical degree preferred).
- Bring 5+ years of maintenance experience utilizing SAP in oil and gas or petrochemical facilities.
- Possess strong expertise with SAP S/4HANA, along with knowledge in planning, scheduling, and execution processes.
- Are experienced with scheduling and project planning software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Prometheus.
- Have a background in work estimation and planning across crafts such as rigging, welding, fabrication, and machining.
- Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and have exceptional attention to detail.
- Hold or are able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and a current/valid state driver’s license.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Have experience or knowledge in PHMSA-regulated pipeline facilities and gas compression equipment (preferred).
