Novolex in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance technician to support our facility’s mechanical systems. You will perform maintenance on boilers, air compressors, conveyors, motorized equipment, and steam piping, ensuring reliable operation.

The position is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm in a climate-controlled environment, with a pay rate of $30.88 per hour. Candidates typically have 1–3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with boilers and air compressors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns on mechanical equipment with urgency.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and systems in a timely manner.
• Complete other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
