Job summary

VERBIO North America LLC is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to oversee and coordinate mechanical maintenance across the facility. You will ensure safe, efficient execution and work with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to support equipment reliability and optimized plant performance.

The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and maintaining preventive/predictive maintenance programs, with a direct reporting line to the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance and manufacturing maintenance planning experience.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures, technical manuals and drawings.
• General industrial parts, electrical, mechanical equipment understanding.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented team player.
• Enthusiastic, self-starter, energetic, organized, and service minded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and coordination of mechanical maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance work is executed safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to support reliability and plant performance.
• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks including safety requirements, labor, materials, tools, and timeframes.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Lead or support troubleshooting and provide technical support for issues.
• Maintain CMMS data including work orders, plans, procedures, and records.
• Coordinate material, parts, and labor requisitions for upcoming work.
• Conduct post-maintenance reviews to improve job plans.
• Support RCFA and corrective actions.
• Participate in weekly maintenance planning meetings and plant shutdown planning.
• Prepare maintenance reports and documentation for management.
