Job summary

ASR Group seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at the Chalmette, LA facility. You will oversee a 15-20 person crew, drive safety culture, and coordinate preventive maintenance programs for refinery equipment.

The role requires strong mechanical maintenance background, knowledge of NDT and vibration analysis, and experience with CMMS/SAP. Occasional overtime and shift rotation are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and related equipment.
• Experience with Modifications/Upgrades to improve reliability is required.
• Familiarity with NDT, vibration and oil analysis reports is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and CMMS (SAP preferred) for documentation.
• Excellent written communication and ability to write reports.
• Willingness to rotate shifts and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance operations to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.
• Supervises 15-20 maintenance mechanics in a union environment.
• Plans, schedules and allocates resources for maintenance work orders.
• Co-ordinates daily maintenance to maximize up-time and efficiency.
• Interfaces with vendors for parts and equipment purchases.
• Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs.
• Reviews costs and minimizes unnecessary spending.
