Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Mechanical Integrity Program Specialist to support a large industrial site in Oklahoma. The role focuses on organizing, standardizing, and advancing the site's MI program, including procedures, forms, and data management within the asset management system.

The ideal candidate has hands-on MI program experience, strong documentation skills, and familiarity with MI, asset integrity, and related databases.

Qualifications

Experience in mechanical integrity programs within chemical, petrochemical, refining, fertilizer, oil & gas, or other PSM-regulated environments.
Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
Experience with MI databases and inspection data management.

Responsibilities

Review and consolidate MI documentation across formats and sources.
Restructure MI documentation into a standardized, equipment-based approach.
Differentiate MI procedures from maintenance procedures and separate them accordingly.
Develop, revise, and format MI procedures, standards, forms, and templates.
Identify gaps in the MI program and help develop new procedures.
Support MI programs for process piping, pressure vessels, and fixed equipment.
Organize MI equipment and inspection data for consistency and completeness.
Structure and organize MI data within the asset performance/inspection system.
Support implementation and rollout of the MI database.
Ensure MI docs align with PSM requirements and API standards.
Collaborate with plant stakeholders to create a maintainable MI documentation structure.
