Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation seeks a Lead Mechanical Integrity Specialist to direct the MI program for Midstream assets including pipelines, terminals, tanks and pressure equipment at our corporate HQ or refinery locations.

The role requires 10+ years in MI or asset integrity, with preference for PE/API/NACE credentials and proven leadership across multiple sites. You will drive risk-based inspection, compliance, and asset reliability initiatives in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; mechanical or corrosion engineering preferred.
• 10+ years in MI, pipeline, asset integrity, or related midstream disciplines.
• PE license, API/NACE certifications, or similar credentials preferred.
• Experience leading cross-site programs and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of MI standards, risk-based inspection, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead MI program development, governance, and continuous improvement across Midstream assets.
• Develop MI standards, procedures, inspection strategies, and KPIs.
• Oversee integrity programs for pipelines, terminals, tanks, and pressure equipment.
• Monitor KPIs and report on integrity risks and compliance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and third parties to meet MI requirements.
• Support audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Lead risk management initiatives and root-cause analyses across sites.
• Provide technical oversight of external consultants and contractors.
