Job summary

iLocatum in Ashtabula, OH is seeking a Mechanical Integrity Engineer to develop, implement, and manage the site's Mechanical Integrity Program for critical assets and protective systems. The role provides technical leadership on mechanical integrity, inspection strategies, and asset management, coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and SHE to ensure regulatory compliance.

The candidate will maintain regulatory documentation for pressure vessels and equipment, support repairs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a PSM-regulated environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA PSM and mechanical integrity requirements.
• Knowledge of RAGAGEP and applicable industry codes and standards.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead technically across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Reliability, and SHE without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the site's Mechanical Integrity Program for critical assets and protective systems.
• Serve as the site Asset Engineer, providing technical leadership on mechanical integrity and asset management.
• Develop inspection strategies and intervals, review results, and implement improvements.
• Lead root cause analyses related to equipment failures and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and SHE to ensure regulatory compliance.
