The role focuses on enhancing inspection planning, ensuring PCMS accuracy, and coordinating with project teams to meet codes and standards. The incumbent will travel to sites to support MI leads, participate in long-term reliability strategy, and contribute to QA reviews of contractor work while staying current with industry codes and NDE

Aufgaben

• Recommends and collaborates with site MI leads on inspection frequencies for pressure vessels, tanks, and pipe systems based on codes and materials.
• Manages the PCMS database and ensures asset descriptions align with JDE.
• Oversees inspection due dates in PCMS and creates timelines to avoid past due inspections.
• Writes MI procedures and processes applying to all LSB sites.
• Supports capital projects to ensure new equipment meets codes and standards.
• Reviews drawings for new stationary equipment to meet codes.
• Develops and maintains IOWs for site stationary equipment.
• Creates detailed ITPs and QC procedures for contractor work.
• Reviews MI lead ITPs for correctness and compliance with inspection requirements.
• Provides QA oversite for contractors performing QC functions.
• Reviews and approves leak repair enclosure plans and calculations.
• Travels to sites regularly to support MI leads.
• Supports TA activities in the field including long shifts and weekends.
• Performs inspections on stationary equipment when certified.
• Collaborates with NDE companies to stay current with new tech.
• Acts as liaison for QA duties in contractor code repairs.
• Keeps up with latest technologies and trends in inspection methods and codes.
• Performs shop inspections for new vessel fabrication for quality and code compliance.
