Job summary

LSB Industries, Inc. Pryor, OK facility seeks a Mechanical Integrity professional to lead NDT inspections and oversee associated documentation. You will supervise third-party inspectors, manage reports, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

The role emphasizes PCMS data entry, equipment databases, and analysis of inspection results to support plant reliability in chemical processing environments. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in a related role is preferred.
• API 510, 570 and 653 preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of testing procedures and equipment used for testing.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Excellent computer skills and attention to detail a must.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with basic forms of NDT inspections to include PT, VT, PMI, and UT measurements on related structures, components, and welds to ensure their integrity.
• Be familiar with advanced NDE techniques such as phased array, time of flight, acoustic emission, etc.
• Perform piping hanger and structural support inspections per MI schedule.
• Maintain inspection and test reports for mechanical integrity of process piping, vessels, and tanks.
• Supervise 3rd party inspectors during outages and daily assignments.
• Interpret NDT reports to assess equipment condition and provide corrective actions as required.
• Enter design data, inspection criteria, and inspection frequencies into the LSB mechanical integrity equipment management software system (PCMS).
• Build and maintain equipment and components database in PCMS.
• Maintain proficiency with PCMS for inspection scheduling and status reporting.
• Conduct measurements and analysis using the temporary flow meter as directed.
