Job summary

Linde plc seeks a seasoned Mechanical Integrity (MI) leader to develop and sustain a comprehensive MI program ensuring safe and compliant operation of critical assets. You will coordinate inspections, analyze corrosion and wear trends, and drive reliability improvements across maintenance, operations, and engineering teams.

With 10+ years in MI or related engineering roles, you will leverage API/NDE knowledge and project management experience to guide repairs, document asset health, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or related Engineering.
• 10+ years in mechanical integrity, asset integrity, inspection, reliability, or related roles within an industrial environment.
• API certification preferred (API 510, 570, and/or 653).
• Strong knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API, OSHA requirements.
• Experience with non-destructive examination (NDE/NDT) methods supporting mechanical integrity programs.
• Project management experience; PMP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the MI program for safe, reliable operation of pressure vessels, pipelines, tanks, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
• Plan inspections including NDT, visual, pressure testing, and thickness measurements.
• Analyze inspection and asset data to evaluate corrosion, wear, remaining life, and performance; identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain MI documentation for audits, regulatory compliance, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering to plan repairs and replacements to improve reliability and life.
• Recommend repair methods and materials while ensuring compliance with standards.
• Prepare technical reports and integrity assessments for stakeholders.
• Work with regulators, auditors, and inspectors on inspections and certifications.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance on MI programs and best practices.
• Lead investigations and root-cause analyses to strengthen asset reliability and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement via condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.
