Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechanical Integration Lead to drive installation, integration, and deployment of material handling equipment across North America. You will lead mechanical installation crews, oversee steel, conveyor, and pneumatic systems, and ensure safety, schedule, and cost targets are met.

You will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations, resolving field issues and delivering high-impact results across multi-site programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering including a supervisory role managing people.
• Experience in fast-paced, automated, industrial environments.
• 5+ years in industrial/operations/manufacturing/project engineering.
• Supervisory experience leading installation crews or tradespeople.
• Experience managing technical projects in automated environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically; may exceed with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage mechanical installation crews deploying MHE across North American facilities.
• Oversee structural header steel installation and conveyor prep/placement.
• Lead belt connections, alignment, squaring, and hardware tightening.
• Direct side guide and netting installation with proper tension.
• Coordinate pneumatic systems installation, testing, and leak checks.
• Ensure safety, schedule, cost, and quality across zones; report progress.
