Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Integration Lead to drive installation, integration, and deployment of automation and material handling systems across North America. This role provides mechanical engineering expertise in complex automation environments to meet safety, timeline, cost, and quality standards.

You will lead installation crews across multiple facilities and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree.
Scheduled travel required 50% of the time; travel may exceed 50% with short notice.

Responsibilities

Lead installation crews deploying material handling equipment across North American facilities.
Lead delivery of complex projects with multi-site impact.
Provide technical expertise for automation initiatives across assigned sites.
Implement technical solutions and lead project level decisions.
Follow and help develop technical standards and best practices.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams.
Participate in technical reviews and drive engineering excellence.
Implement scalable solutions across assigned facilities.
Recommend and implement process improvements.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Drive achievement of safety, timeline, cost, and quality metrics.
Provide technical input to leadership for decision-making.
Manage relationships with vendors and partners.
