Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Integration Lead to drive the installation, integration, and deployment of automation and material handling systems across North America’s facilities. This role provides engineering expertise to meet safety, timeline, cost, and quality standards.

You will manage installation crews, lead multi-site projects, collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations, and deliver scalable solutions with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with supervisory engineering experience.
• Experience in fast-paced automated industrial environments.
• 5+ years in industrial/operations/manufacturing/project engineering roles.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
• 10+ years of OEM MIL/EIL experience may replace a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation crews deploying material handling equipment across North American facilities
• Deliver complex multi-site projects with cross-site impact
• Provide technical expertise for automation initiatives across assigned sites
• Implement technical solutions and lead project-level decisions
• Follow and help develop technical standards and best practices
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams
• Participate in technical reviews and drive engineering excellence
• Implement scalable solutions across assigned facilities
• Recommend and implement process improvements
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Drive achievement of safety, timeline, cost, and quality metrics
• Provide technical input to leadership for decision-making
• Manage relationships with vendors and partners
