Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechanical Integration Lead to drive installation, integration, and deployment of material handling equipment across North America. You will manage mechanical installation crews, oversee steel and conveyor work, and coordinate with electrical teams to guarantee safe, on-time, and cost-effective project delivery.

Responsibilities include QC, commissioning, and developing installation standards.

Qualifications

Experience in engineering with a supervisory role managing people.
Experience in fast-paced automated industrial environments.
5+ years in industrial/engineering roles within manufacturing or construction.
Experience supervising installation crews and trades.
Experience managing technical projects in automated environments.
Travel up to 50% domestically; short-notice travel possible.
Ability to read and understand installation drawings.

Responsibilities

Directly manage and lead mechanical installation crews deploying MHE across North American facilities.
Oversee structural header steel installation and anchoring to building structure.
Lead conveyor prep and placement; rigging, lifting, staging, and section placement.
Manage conveyor connections, belting, and alignment; ensure proper torque and hardware.
Direct side guide and netting installation with proper tension.
Oversee belt installation and belt tension checks.
Coordinate pneumatic/air systems installation, testing, and leak verification.
Coordinate with logistics to stage materials to work zones on schedule.
Perform QC and commissioning activities including alignment verifications and match-marking.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and operations.
Develop and follow installation standards, SOPs, and QC checklists.
Provide data-driven input to leadership and drive safety, schedule, cost, and quality metrics.
