Job summary

Jabil Inc. in Austin, TX or remote USA seeks a Lead Mechanical Integration Engineer to lead mechanical systems for Data Center Infrastructure, Energy Storage, and HVAC. You will design, specify components, perform FE analysis, create BOMs, lead testing, and collaborate with global teams to ensure reliability and cost effectiveness.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Systems Engineering, 10+ years experience, and proficiency with CAD tools like CREO/SolidWorks; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in mechanical system integration with proven designs.
• Familiarity with Energy Storage Systems and Data Center Infrastructure standards.
• Experience with CAD tools: CREO/ProE and SolidWorks; WindChill a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and engineering drawings for frames, panels, enclosures, and mounting solutions.
• Ensure shop drawings meet codes, standards, and safety requirements.
• Analyze proposals and data to assess feasibility and cost.
• Design, validate, and analyze machined parts and assemblies for systems.
• Lead test plan development, testing, and equipment selection.
• Create BOMs for release to manufacturing.
• Draft and contribute to test plans and specifications.
• Monitor delivery quality and schedule adherence.
