Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Mechanical Insulation for PCI Madison 574 operations based in Sun Prairie, WI. You will lead the full lifecycle of mechanical insulation projects and coordinate with clients, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years of construction project experience, ability to read specifications and drawings, and strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional construction project experience.
• Experience in mechanical insulation scope of construction subcontracts.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work.
• Strong track record establishing and maintaining vendor relationships.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with digital construction takeoff and software.
• Effective collaboration within a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical insulation projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Oversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and P&L responsibility.
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, field teams, and subcontractors for successful execution.
• Lead field operations, including labor planning, productivity tracking, and supervision performance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and address delays or risks proactively.
• Review drawings, specs, and submittals for scope accuracy and proper installation.
• Oversee change orders, RFIs, and project documentation for financial alignment.
• Collaborate across trades to coordinate insulation installation with mechanical systems.
