Job summary

Performance Contracting, Inc. in Lenexa, KS, seeks an experienced Project Engineer for its PCI Kansas City mechanical insulation operations. Based in Lenexa, this role coordinates with field supervisors, manages schedules, and supports QA/QC.

You'll perform labor control, prepare RFIs, do takeoffs, and manage punch lists; requires 2+ years in construction projects and knowledge of mechanical insulation. OSHA certification is preferred; local KC proximity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or managing construction projects (2+ years).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings; proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
• Support the QA/QC measures in the program.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
