Job summary

Aerotek in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Mechanical Installer II for a contract assignment on first shift. You will install robotic systems, assemble equipment with hand and power tools, read diagrams, and assist startup and commissioning.

This onsite role requires construction or industrial installation experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable attendance. The workday runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on first shift.

Seeking candidates with mechanical installation or construction experience to install and assemble robotic systems in an industrial environment.

Key Duties:

• Install robotic arms, substations, and safety fencing
• Assemble robotic equipment using hand and power tools
• Run wiring for equipment power systems
• Move materials using pallet jacks
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and installation instructions
• Assist with equipment startup and commissioning
• Perform general labor, material handling, and site cleanup
• Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements

Requirements:

• Experience in construction, machinery, robotics, or industrial installation
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable standing/walking throughout the shift
• Able to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred:

• Robotics installation experience
• Mechanical assembly skills
• Blueprint reading
• Construction experince
• Material handling and pallet jack experience

Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay: Up to $24/hr

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
