Mechanical Assembler / Manufacturing Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler / Manufacturing Operator B to join our production team. In this role, you will perform mechanical assembly, sub-assembly, washing, rework, repair operations, and pallet loading while ensuring products meet quality and customer standards. This position is ideal for individuals with assembly experience who enjoy working with tools and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble line components and mechanical sub-assemblies according to work instructions and blueprints.

• Use hand tools and power tools to build, inspect, and test products.

• Perform material washing and final washing operations.

• Conduct rework and repair activities on products that do not meet specifications.

• Operate equipment used for deburring, grinding, and general production tasks.

• Perform visual inspections and verify product quality using measuring and testing equipment.

• Load pallets and complete material handling tasks as needed.

• Complete production and quality documentation, including scrap tags and work records.

• Escalate equipment, tooling, material, and quality concerns to the Line Lead or Supervisor.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• Mechanical assembly experience preferred.

• Experience using hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read and follow work instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to stand for the entire shift.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred

• 6+ months of manufacturing or assembly experience.

• Blueprint reading experience.

• Experience with deburring, grinding, or machine operation.

• Experience completing production or quality documentation.

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.11 - $21.11/hr.
