Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Minimum 1+ year manufacturing experience in mechanical or technical disciplines.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• CMM programming with PCDMIS preferred.
• Understanding of ISO 9001/AS9100, Lean principles, and quality tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and good visual acuity.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed inspections with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Programs and performs inspections using a CMM.
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings and specifications.
• Identifies defects and deviations during inspection.
• Maintains inspection records and generates reports with corrective actions.
• Ensures calibration and maintenance of inspection tools.
• Collaborates with production to address quality concerns and root causes.
• Supports Quality Engineers and participates as a quality representative on cross-functional teams.
• Prepares First Article Inspection reports per AS9102 and customer requirements.
• Participates as internal auditor.
