Job summary

Dupont is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform detailed inspection of parts from new or revised molds and document results. The role includes developing measurement methods, executing layout inspections, and supporting CMM programs and calibrations.

You will contribute to statistical studies, participate in final and in-process inspections, and help ensure accurate test records for customer and internal forms, while promoting a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2년 보 vocational inspection program or equivalent on‑the‑job experience.
• Course work in inspection, gauging and blueprint reading.
• Exposure to injection molding in any capacity.
• Working knowledge of mechanical inspection equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
• Working knowledge of MCOSMOS and MSURF software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Select or develop and document appropriate measurement methods to be used for assigned measurement studies.
• Accurately perform and report layout inspection results for new, revised parts and assemblies.
• Perform statistical studies on components and gauging.
• Develop and implement CMM programs.
• Create operator instructions describing the use of the CMM.
• Troubleshoot CMM measurement issues including program or mechanical problems.
• Assist in performing calibrations.
• Perform receiving, in-process, final and 2nd operations inspections as assigned.
