Job summary

Dover is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Elon, NC assembly facility. You will inspect components, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure conformance to drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or certification in quality preferred.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specs, tolerances and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
• Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections and testing per drawings and procedures.
• Verify workmanship and product requirements prior to release.
• Maintain complete inspection and test records for traceability.
• Support calibration and SPC methods and communicate quality concerns promptly.
