Job summary

Nox Group is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to lead a crew installing process equipment and piping systems on industrial projects including water treatment, data centers, and semiconductor facilities. You will direct daily field operations, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mechanical piping with Foreman experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical piping and process equipment installation experience; Foreman or Lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pipe fitting, fabrication, and equipment installation including rigging, leveling, anchoring.
• Ability to read blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate daily activities of pipe fitters, welders, and helpers.
• Plan and schedule work using blueprints, isometric drawings, P&IDs and specs to plan sequence and manpower.
• Oversee piping installation methods including grooving, flanging, threading, solvent welding, fusion, and alignment.
• Coordinate equipment receiving, inspection, storage, setting, and rigging with crane operators and other trades; support startup checks.
• Inspect crew work for compliance and coordinate hydrostatic testing, flushing, and inspections.
• Enforce safety policies, conduct toolbox talks, ensure proper PPE and crew assignments.
• Track crew hours, productivity, and progress against schedule; resolve issues impacting timelines.
• Coordinate materials and equipment with project management and procurement.
• Maintain daily reports, timecards, and material logs; train and mentor crew.
• Communicate with other foremen, superintendents, and trades to sequence work and resolve conflicts.
