Job summary

PC Construction seeks aMechanical Foreman to lead multiple crews on self-perform projects, focusing on piping installations and wastewater plant equipment. Three years as a foreman and six years total in installation are expected, along with experience with large-diameter above/underground flanged and ductile iron piping.

You will plan, schedule, read drawings, perform material take-offs, order materials, and mentor others.

Qualifications

• Three years experience as a mechanical foreman.
• Six years overall experience with installation of flanged piping systems and site utility piping.
• Experience with large diameter above/ underground flanged and ductile iron piping systems.
• Experience with installation of process equipment for a Wastewater Treatment Plant.
• Expertise with rigging of piping and equipment.
• Willingness to assist with ancillary work such as miscellaneous metals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the crew.
• Read and interpret drawings, perform material take-off, and order materials.
• Plan and schedule the work for the crew, daily, weekly, and monthly basis to include integrating subcontractor work as needed.
• Work with tools when needed, and teach/mentor others to do so.
• Travel to jobsites as required.
