Job summary

PC Construction Company seeks a Mechanical Foreman to lead the crew on self-perform projects, installing piping systems and process equipment for wastewater facilities. The role requires three years of foreman experience and six years of overall piping experience, including large-diameter above/underground flanged and ductile iron piping.

The incumbent will read drawings, perform material take-offs, plan daily to monthly work, coordinate with subcontractors, and mentor crew members.

Qualifications

• Three years experience as a mechanical foreman.
• Six years overall experience with installation of flanged piping systems and site utility piping.
• Experience with large diameter above/underground flanged and ductile iron piping systems.
• Experience with installation of process equipment for a Wastewater Treatment Plant.
• Expertise with rigging of piping and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the crew.
• Read and interpret drawings, perform material take-off, and order materials.
• Plan and schedule the work for the crew on daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including subcontractor coordination.
• Work with tools when needed, and mentor others to do so.
• Travel to jobsites as required.
