• Ability to interpret cost data and systems and apply mathematical concepts.
• Strong reading of specs and drawings with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates and detailed estimates for small to medium projects.
• Perform material take-offs and provide unit cost pricing using drawings and software.
• Solicit subcontractor bids and maintain vendor relationships for quotes.
• Review RFPs and basis of design to determine scope and contents of estimate.
• Present information and respond to questions from internal departments.
