Stellar Energy Americas Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Manager to lead the design of modular TIAC Plant, CHP and district cooling projects up to full production.

You will review specifications, perform mechanical calculations, and coordinate with clients, vendors and fabrication to deliver compliant designs. The role requires a BS in mechanical or chemical engineering, 5+ years in power/HVAC design, and proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD preferred).

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical or chemical engineering from ABET-accredited university is required.
• Minimum five years of experience in power plant or HVAC design or similar projects.
• Competent in selecting general mechanical equipment (pumps, chillers, etc.).
• Proficient in piping system design, materials, stress analysis and valves.
• Familiar with local and international codes and design interfaces.
• Ability to prepare engineering deliverables for all project phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical engineers and design engineers.
• Perform independent engineering and design work with accountability for quality.
• Develop manufacturing and test procedures, and project deliverables.
• Support sales with schematics, equipment selection and specs.
• Coordinate with disciplines, client, and fabrication for production.
• Provide technical leadership across the engineering discipline.
