Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design modular TIAC (Turbine Inlet Air Cooling) plants, CHP and district cooling systems. The role includes specification reviews, mechanical calculations, and coordination with clients and fabrication to ensure production meets requirements.

The position requires a BS in mechanical or chemical engineering, 2+ years in HVAC/power design, and familiarity with industry codes. Fort Worth/Jacksonville operations, full-time, on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or chemical engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of two years of experience in power plant or HVAC design or similar projects.
• Familiar with selection and technical requirements of pumps, chillers, cooling towers, heat exchangers.
• Familiar with local and international codes and standards, regulations, and implementations.
• Familiar with design procedures and cooperation with other disciplines.
• Familiar with engineering deliverables and depth requirements at different project stages.

Responsibilities

• Undertake engineering and design work independently.
• Follow company procedures, specifications, and standards.
• Write, manufacture and test procedures and reports.
• Participate in project teams for modular plant development.
• Provide technical support to sales and marketing for bids and proposals.
• Prepare mechanical specifications and control documents.
