Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern to support standard engineering tasks across water market projects in Saint Louis. You will assist lead engineers, apply established design techniques, and help update designs, with emphasis on learning and growth in a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to the work.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or consulting experience preferred.
• Active involvement in campus or community activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities
