Job summary

RTX is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support engineers in the Advanced RF Front-End Hardware organization. You will assist in developing RF systems, antennas, and test equipment to enable future technologies.

Responsibilities include creating 3D CAD models and drawings, participating in design reviews, and supporting testing and documentation. Security clearance (DoD Secret) and U.S. citizenship are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with mechanical engineering concepts and hardware tools/devices.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional hardware teams to develop RF antenna array architectures.
• Create 3D CAD models and drawings for RF products; develop prototype hardware.
• Participate in design/drawing reviews with peers and SMEs.
• Support design documentation using engineering tools, Adobe, and MS Office.
• Assist RF component/system testing and integration of prototype hardware.
• Follow established procedures and coordinate with program management.
