Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Englewood, CO invites a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join a project team and support the engineering group on design and upgrade work for power plant and industrial systems.

Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will perform engineering calculations, develop drawings, and help track project activities and progress while gaining hands-on experience in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Track and evaluate project activities, progress, and data.
