Sargent & Lundy in Warrenville, IL invites energetic Mechanical Engineering interns for summer 2027 to join a project team and support design and analysis of power plant or industrial facility systems.

Under supervision, you will prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications, and assist with project reporting, progress tracking, and data analysis. ABET-accredited program preferred; strong academics and communication required.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in ME or CHE with strong academic background in mechanical systems (thermodynamics/fluids/heat transfer).
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Support project reporting, tracking progress and analyzing project data.
