Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join a project team and assist in executing engineering work across power plant retrofits, new generation installations, and renewable energy facilities.

Under supervision, you’ll help prepare drawings, calculations, specifications, and designs while gaining experience with power equipment document reviews and AE/AI-assisted workflows. Strong communication and PC skills are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with a winter 2027 or spring 2028 graduation date.
• Strong academic background with coursework in electrical power concepts and AC power systems analysis.
• ABET program enrollment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in execution of project work on a team under senior engineers.
• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Be involved in electric power equipment document reviews.
