Job summary

United Launch Alliance (ULA) is seeking an Aerospace Engineering Intern for a 10-week summer program in multiple locations (Denver, Pueblo CO; Cape Canaveral FL; Decatur AL; Vandenberg CA). The role involves hands-on analysis of flight hardware, design support, and data-driven improvements across launches, with exposure to systems engineering and production workflows.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a STEM degree, plans to enroll in Fall 2027, and can work full-time.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum college GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale at the time of application; cumulative, no rounding.
• Must have a valid driver's license and motorized vehicle transportation if assigned an internship in Alabama; California; Florida; or Pueblo, Colorado.
• For Denver, Colorado and Washington, DC, motorized transportation is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing flight hardware and assist in the design and development of future hardware.
• Perform analysis for both completed and future launches; test, systems engineering, mission integration, quality assurance, system safety, launch operations and production operations.
• Support experienced engineers, shadow operations and participate in larger projects; build a strong network within the ULA community.
