Sound mechanical engineering background including statics, dynamics, structural analysis, and systems analysis.
Experience with test and measurement equipment and wiring diagrams.
Ability to interpret schematics and building plans; collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

Provide product support for elevator components and mechanical systems.
Shadow engineers and support project deliverables.
Gain hands-on experience in the Florence Test Tower and Florence Factory.
Prepare an end-of-summer report on organizational impact and learnings.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to analyze problems and root causes.
Collaborate with electrical, software, and test engineers across cross-functional teams.
Work with manufacturing operations, supply management, contract logistics, finance, and field support to ensure design compatibility.
