Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, manufacturing, or construction.
• Interest in design/development type work.

Responsibilities

• Create tools, parts, and technical documents for field repair, installation, and maintenance of Otis and competitor equipment.
• Coordinate with Field office personnel, Supply Management, and external suppliers to gather information and minimize supply interruptions.
• Document data analysis, write technical reports, and support process improvements.
• Assist with product development cycle: design, test, select, and implement materials and parts for field use.
• Conduct research and performance testing for elevator systems development.
• Perform jobsite testing and surveying; set up and maintain data collection equipment.
• Assist in mechanical design and strength analysis of elevator parts and service tools.
